MDF has become increasingly popular for making flat pack furniture because of its affordability. 1. Affordability

MDF is made from binding softwood and hardwood residue under pressure using resin binder and wax. Considering the raw material used is waste from other timbers, it makes the Medium Density Fireboard more affordable compared to other options. 2. It's lightweight
